Nick Kuiper

Nick Kuiper started playing the guitar in 1989 at the young age of  7. In the more than 30 years since, he has performed both locally and internationally with some of South Africa’s top musicians. He performs with guitar, bass and vocals. Nick’s passion for music naturally led him to begin educating others and he has been teaching music since 2001. During this time, he has taught countless students, mainly at Somerset College in the Western Cape, South Africa and many students have gone on to become accomplished performing musicians themselves.

Steph Nortjé

Steph Nortjé has been playing drums and percussion since 1996. For the past 24 years he has been developing his performing craft on local and international stages, performing with top artists on international tours covering Germany, Netherlands, Poland and the UK. His passion for music education has seen him teach at private schools across the country which includes: Bridge House College (Franschhoek), St Mary’s School (JHB), Trinity House College (JHB). He currently teaches drums and percussion at Applewood Preparatory School, and Somerset College. Steph obtained his BMus (Hons) in Contemporary music through the University of Chichester (UK), facilitated by the Campus of Performing Arts in 2013.
