The Survey Process

On an organisational level, it is recommended that a campaign be created by the business in question to notify individuals that the survey process will be taking place. This promotes the completion of the survey and allows for any initial concerns to be addressed prior to assessment completion. Motto provides the business with a recommended campaign template which is subject to change as the client sees fit.

To complete the assessment, participants will receive a unique link sent to their email address. The email will briefly explain the surveys purpose, and stipulate how to answer the survey. The link will direct individuals to the questionnaire for completion. The online assessment should not take more than 30 minutes, as answers should be made according to initial instinct and should not be given too much thought.

The assessment is usually left open for completion for a week, after which it is closed for processing purposes. However, this is negotiable and depends on the rate of completion. Daily monitoring is done to track progress of completion and clients are kept up to date via status reports which are communicated via email.

When the surveys have been completed, feedback reports will be created. Thereafter, feedback sessions will be arranged to unpack the reports. However, along with the report, participants will be sent a link to Bloom, an online coaching bot to which they will have a one-month free subscription. Individuals can make use of this online coaching bot to tackle issues that come to light in their results report, although it is strongly recommended that this coaching bot be used in addition to and in combination with a feedback session and subsequent development interventions that are guided by a human coach or accredited facilitator.

Due to the nature of the Self-Perception™ report, the feedback of each report is done as an individual one-on-one coaching session with each participant who completed the survey, as well as a member of the leadership team if the process is at an organisational level. In the case where an organisation requests a group report, the feedback sessions will be arranged with the participants and leadership as a group session.

Motto and the independent consultant/enabler will agree on a suitable date/s for the one-on-one feedback sessions or for group-level feedback to participants and/or leadership. Various interventions may be suggested on individual levels for the participants, and on a group level for groups within an organisation. The form that these interventions will take will depend on the results that came to light through the data, as well as the company’s specific requirements.

Thereafter, Motto and the independent consultant/enabler will agree to any support needed from Motto.
